Welcome

Lately I've been marvelling at the wonderful heroic couplets in Alexander Pope's translation of the Iliad.

I want to give it a try myself.

Of course, my version of the Iliad will only be a paraphrase based upon my reading of Pope's, Fagles', and Lattimore's translations.
